Scott Pilgrim shoes, done for my best friend’s birthday =). I learnt that the hours spent painting black shoes white are more than what is spent on the actual design.
YUP.
Our friends at Random House Children’s Books have generously agreed to donate one brand-new book for each new follower we gain on Tumblr, Facebook, and Twitter this week. Those books will go to thousands of schools and programs serving kids from low-income families across the country.

Also chiptune. I forgot to mention chiptune. So yeah. Piano-soul-chiptune-dance-punk with Beach Boys-esque vocals.
Should be fun.
So I feel I may have gone overboard with my band plans. Specifically, I’m thinking of attempting to make music which is a blend of punk, Primal Scream, Fatboy Slim, soul and The Beach Boys. With piano and occassionally horns. Insane? Yes. Possible? Probably not. But I don’t care. There should be more experimentation in music, everything seems really…normalised at the moment.
Also Rayman Origins is coming out soon. Anyone who doesn’t buy that is a bastard. Fact. If Skyward Sword wasn’t coming out, it’d probably be my game of the year.
Apparently my housemates would rather watch Tim Minchin than a thing on The Goon Show. This offends me.
In fact, just how generally unknown The Goon Show is offends me. It’s one of the most influential and just generally amazing comedy shows ever, but NOPE, barely anyone under 30, maybe even 40 has even heard of it. Which is just…wrong.
MEANWHILE this ridiculously unfunny twat gets airplay in our house. WHAT IS THIS. WHAT IS GOING ON.
Goon Show bitches. Spread the mothafuckin’ word.
I’ve decided that Rescue Me by Fontella Bass could work as a punk song.
As such I have started arranging this version. Will post the results at some point.
Ok so this is BY FAR the best series on TV right now. Like there is actually no competition.
Hoooly shit.
Cinema day was today! Or, well, technically, yesterday. Whatever.
It was pretty much a huge success, even though it was only really me and one of my housemates. And she wasn’t even there for Drive, the first film.
Whatever. All three films (Drive, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Tucker & Dale Vs Evil) were fantastic, and everyone should see them.
